1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing cipherdeck.net or downloading, installing, or using any mobile application published by CipherDeck on Google Play (including AES Vault: File & Text Encrypt), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. License & Intellectual Property

CipherDeck grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our applications strictly in accordance with these Terms. All brand trademarks, logos, UI designs, graphics, and proprietary application code remain the exclusive property of CipherDeck.

3. Local Cryptographic Execution & User Responsibility

Our encryption utilities (such as AES Vault) are engineered to perform cryptographic operations locally on your device without transmitting your passwords, private keys, or unencrypted files to our servers. You are solely responsible for remembering and safely backing up your encryption passwords, passphrases, and keys. Because CipherDeck has zero access to your keys, lost passwords cannot be reset or recovered by CipherDeck.

4. Per-Application Privacy Policies

Privacy practices and data safety disclosures are governed on a per-application basis. Please consult the dedicated Privacy Policy linked directly on each application's official Google Play Store listing.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

All CipherDeck software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CipherDeck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from forgotten passwords, corrupted local storage, hardware failure, or misuse of cryptographic tools.
